For the past handful of summers, Paul Eggleston and Kris Thompson have hauled their synths, theremins and assorted gadgets (and a gas-powered generator!) into a Vermont forest to set up their theme camp at the Firefly arts festival. "Camp Astral Chill" is the late-night oasis where they (along with various collaborators) have unfurled many an evocative flight of inner-spatial drone dimensioneering. The cauldron of sound—mingling with the dance of laser insect simulations upon the encircling pine bowers overhead—has made for some unusually heady times.

In 2016, for the first time ever, Paul & Kris assembled outside the forest--at Artisan's Asylum in Somerville MA – where many of Firefly's art and construction projects are dreamt up and assembled. Joining in at intervals were Ranger Deviant, James Arthur, and Luke C Stark on an array of various electronics and software. Enjoy the results in the untamed forest of your own stereo field.
